Compared to the last sale two weeks ago, steer and heifer calves traded sharply higher, mostly 10.00 to 22.00 higher. Yearling load lots 5.00 to 6.00 higher. Slaughter cows 3.00 to 4.00 higher. Excellent quality on offer throughout the day, even in the numerous unweaned consignments. A couple extra buyers in the seats made for active trade, also aided by a strong day at the CME. Supply moderate, demand very good.
