Compared to last week: There were too few comparable sales to determine a market trend, largely due to last weeks short turnout. However; buyer demand was active on an offering of better quality cattle. Much of the sale consisted of feeders coming off short grass and fresh calves being pulled early due to continuing drought conditions. Highest demand continued to favor cattle over 750 lbs. There was no test on average to high yielding slaughter cows this week. Slaughter bulls sold about 7.00 lower.
